Cooper River Bridge Run is a 10 kilometer race on the first Saturday of April. Whether you’re running in the race, or just along to spectate, this run is sure to make for an exciting day! The Cooper River Bridge Run begins in Mount Pleasant, and is the only competition in South Carolina sanctioned by USA Track and Field as an elite event, and is the third largest 10k run and fifth biggest road race in America!
Visiting with children? Hampton Park hosts a KIDS RUN & Wonderfest on the same day! The race is best for kids under three years old, and adults are encouraged to run with their children. Make sure you and your kids are wearing comfortable running shoes, clothing and plenty of sunscreen. Drink tons of water and enjoy the day!
The cost to register ranges from $35 to $55 depending on how early you register beforehand. Check out the Cooper River Bridge Run site for more information. The race begins at 8am, but you’ll need to be in your designated corral by 7am if you are running, so plan accordingly!
